Medical District Streetscape Phase 1 & 2

The Medical District Streetscape Projects are roadway rehabilitation and sidewalk improvement projects associated with the development of the new IU Medical School Campus in Downtown Evansville, IN. This project revitalized 14 city blocks around the future IU Medical Campus. Construction required constant coordination with private developers and contractors, as well as local businesses and governmental agencies. The project included over 6,000 feet of storm piping and over 150 storm structures. In addition, the project installed 14 ADS stormtech storage basins with depths ranging from 12-18 feet. The project also installed lighting and modernized existing signals to compliment the revitalization efforts of the growing downtown community.
