The Jacobsville Complete Streets Improvements Project included reconstruction of over 24 city blocks, including intersections, along North Main St. from Division St. to Morgan Avenue and along Virginia St. from North Main St. to First Ave., near downtown Evansville, IN. In addition, to over 1.5 miles of new roadway, the project also updated sidewalks, planters and signals along the North Main Street corridor. The project includes a new brick paver cycle track, over 8,000 feet in length; and: modern underground storm storage chambers, 6,000 feet of storm drain piping and over 200 storm drainage structures. This project was constructed by phased construction while keeping residential and business access open at all times.
