The EVLA Wave Wash Project improved settlement defects created by backwater flooding associated with high water river events. The project installed over 27,000 tons of revetment rip-rap along a 6,000 lineal foot portion of the EVLA levee. In addition, over 24,000 square yards of heavy duty turf matting was installed to promote better vegetative growth and stability.
